Struggling to translate a #radiopharmaceuticals 101 talk from English to Spanish.
It's one thing to shoot the breeze, but a whole other thing to speak on "quelantes," "radionúclidos metálicos," "imagenología" and "marcadores radioactivos" 😬😅

🚨Hot off the presses🚨
Colleagues in Netherlands & Germany evaluated 68Ga-peptide specific to GPC3 in patients w #HCC.
✅Uptake in HCC and hepatoblastoma lesions
💡Heterogeneity of GPC3 expression in HCC
💡Gastric fundus uptake, but likely cleared over time -

🚨New #radiopharmaceuticals imaging study out of The Netherlands🚨
HER2 PET can identify metastatic breast cancer with IHC-defined HER2-negative and low lesions.
PET can define the heterogeneity of target expression throughout a patient.

Happy galley proofs day to those who celebrate!!!
Stay tuned for a new paper that describes not one but *two* to methods to yield site-specifically conjugated small proteins labeled with [18F]AlF for fluorine-18-based positron emission tomograpy (PET) imaging.

It’s certainly a bit anachronistic, but there’s something to be said for seeing your work in print.

Lots of folks in #nucmed and #radonc are interested in launching their own #radiopharmaceuticals ☢️therapy program, but not sure where to start.
If you're in this camp, you're in luck!🍀

Lu-dotatate changed how patients with SSTR+ NETs are treated.
Still, many patients have NETs that don’t respond or develop resistance to Lu-dotatate

Hello former #medtwitter and now #medmastodon
I am a trained ☢️ #radiochemist 🧪 who wants to stay on top of ☢️ #nucmed 💉🩺
So anybody who works with #PET #SPECT #PRRT #TRT or and especially #TAT feel free to reach out and discuss 💪☺️
So I am very excited to be part of a new #nuclearmedicine network here 🤗

Hi Mastodonians, MastoDons, & MastoDoñas!
I am an oncologist and scientist at the NCI developing #radiopharmaceuticals in the lab to help image and treat cancer.
My research sits at the interface of #oncology #chemistry #radiochemistry #DrugDevelopment #ClinicalTrials #nucmed #radonc.
Beyond the professional, I enjoy #audiobooks, #fitness, #coffee, and occasional #beer #homebrewing.
Looking to connect with and learn from diverse thinkers in oncology, medicine, and beyond.
