Interesting, you should look into the medical application of Ac-225 one of the daughter nuclides of Th-229.

This could mean that a lot of Th-229 can be reallocated towards the production of medical isotopes instead.

That would be a blessing for my industry as a whole.

Scientists claim that a new nuclear medicine therapy could completely cure blood cancer non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The therapy uses a radioimmunotherapy drug that targets and kills cancer cells with a radioactive isotope. The therapy was tested in mice and showed remarkable results, extending their survival by more than 200 days.
