Aug. 15, 2022"As escalating tensions among the #UnitedStates, #Russia and #China revive old fears of nuclear war, some researchers are warning that even a limited-scale exchange between such nations as India and Pakistan could have catastrophic consequences for global food supplies and trigger mass death worldwide.
"A nuclear conflict involving less than 3% of the world’s stockpiles could kill a third of the world’s population within two years, according to a new international study led by scientists at Rutgers University. A larger nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States could kill three-fourths of the world’s population in the same timeframe, according to the research published Monday in Nature Food.
“'It’s really a cautionary tale that any use of nuclear weapons could be a catastrophe for the world',' said climate scientist and study author Alan Robock, a distinguished professor in Rutgers’ Department of Environmental Sciences.
"The findings come at a time when — 30 years after the end of the #ColdWar — the threat of a #nuclearholocaust may be greater now than it ever was."

This, of course, will not stop the #Neocons. They are perfectly content to provoke #NuclearHolocaust rather than give up unchallenged control of the planet. After all, they won't have to suffer the fallout. They've taken steps to shield themselves from accountability and from harm. So have their multi-billionaire backers. But they'll be the last dying holdouts of a species doomed to extinction. So, what's to be done?

Even if #Biden were by some miracle re-elected, he likely won't survive his second term, and #KamalaHarris is arguably even more stupid than he is. She cannot competently manage the empire.
