    #LPT - If you're having problems logging-in to a website using #MFA/ #2FA ( #TOTP ) check the #clock on your computer!

    As far back as #WindowsXP #Microsoft has included a built-in #NTPclient for automatically setting the clock in Windows.

    It's normally set to `time.windows.com`.

    Only problem is, `time.windows.com` is off by almost 60 seconds!

    For the life of me I couldn't figure out why #SoGo was telling me I kept supplying the wrong TOTP code (that I obtained from my desktop #bitwarden client) to login to my Email.

    As soon as I switched the Internet Time Server to `time.nist.gov` everything worked fine.
