Rzeczy są dobre lub złe niezależnie od ceny i marki. Czy bycia "nowymi" / nowoczesnymi. Tanie i używane, może być lepsze niż nowe i drogie.

Uczy się nas, by kupować nowe, drogie i markowe. Bo wielki "biznes" wtedy zarabia więcej. Mniejszy biznes nie, jego trzeba wyszukać, robi często lepsze rzeczy taniej / efektywniej kosztowo.

I finished a piece of furniture for our kitchen. It was the biggest 💪 project I have ever done. A small refrigerator for wine bottles 🍷 was also integrated directly into the lower section.

P.S. Dla osób które mają po szufladach czy półkach starsze sprzęty komputerowe, dyski, lapki, telefony itp. informacja że zamiast wyrzucać, można przysłać do mnie na wieś. Po naprawie/reinstalacji posłużą jeszcze jakiś czas ograniczając wykluczenie cyfrowe na terenach wiejskich oraz pomagając w rozwoju infrastruktury Wiejskiej Naprawialni

P.P.S. Również narzędzia, jeśli z jakichś powodów niepotrzebne, w tym akumulatorowe, naprawiam takie rzeczy :)

P.P.P.S. Jak mogłem zapomnieć o częściach i podzespołach rowerowych 🚴 Stare rowery również chętnie przyjmę, zwłaszcza retro mtb, ale to trzeba uzgodnić jakoś transport, bo drogo wychodzi. I koła ;) Koła zwłaszcza 26 cali do #RetroMTB

Never throw away old wood 🪵. You can still turn it into useful furniture 📐. I got some pieces of 40-year-old wood from a farmer and turned them into a shoe rack 👞.

The challenge was to use hand tools as much as possible during the project.

Będzie wysyp fajnych maszyn dla Linuksa. Nie wyrzucaj, reinstaluj i używaj dalej.
To pójście ekosystemu Windows w stronę ekosystemu Androida. Producenci nie dostarczają nowej wersji OS, więc musisz kupić nowy telefon.
Jakimś dziwnym sposobem autorzy innych dystrybucji Android potrafią dostarczyć na te telefony nowe wersje. Przykładem LineageOs i wiele jego pochodnych, w tym mój ulubiony /e/Os.

Microsoft pozazdrościł producentom telefonów i próbuje tego samego z pecetami. Wyrzucić 3-letni fajny sprzęt i kupić nowy? Niedoczekanie.

Pamiętaj, kilkuletnie maszyny, czy to telefon, laptop czy blaszak, świetnie działają, można je naprawić, rozbudować, wymienić baterie, dodać ram czy szybszy dysk. Czy przeinstalować system operacyjny.

Sam na co dzień pracuję na laptopie, który ma ładnych kilka lat, dołożoną pamięć, nowy dysk, stację dokującą i 2 dodatkowe monitory. To samo telefony i tablety (mam ich kilka, ze względu na pracę). Drugi, zapasowy ThinkPad jest jeszcze starszy i świetnie działa (oba na linuksie). Podobnie serwer w domowym labie to starsza, świetna maszyna.

Nie daj się robić w balona.

- Naprawa towarów zamiast kupna nowych to wybór większości obywateli Unii
- Nowy obowiązek dla producentów – naprawa produktów nawet po upływie gwarancji prawnej
- Bony na naprawy i inne zachęty finansowe dla konsumentów

We wtorek Parlament przyjął stanowisko negocjacyjne w sprawie nowego prawa konsumentów do naprawy. 590 posłów zagłosowało za, 15 przeciw, a 15 wstrzymało się od głosu. Projekt przepisów ma wspierać bardziej zrównoważoną konsumpcję. Przepisy będą też wspierać sektor napraw. Łatwiej będzie naprawić uszkodzone produkty, dzięki czemu zmniejszy się ilość odpadów."
