#Ukrainian forces cleared out #Russian troops from the #Donetsk Oblast #village of #Udachne
Udachne lies around 10 kilometers (6 miles) west of #Pokrovsk, a strategic town that has become one of the fiercest front-line areas in Ukraine’s east.
The announcement comes only a day after the Ukrainian military reported the liberation of the nearby village of #Novoekonomichne.

#Ukraine liberated village of #Novoekonomichne in #Donetsk Oblast and raised the national flag, the General Staff announced on Sept. 1.
Novoekonomichne, with a pre-war population of nearly 2,800 people, is located about 14 kilometers (8 miles) northwest of the embattled city of #Pokrovsk.
