The worst part was they had lied to us. They let us believe they were #littleBirdBirds, the reality was quite different. They were large #redCockroaches.
Unbeknownst to us that would come to be the last time many would ever see #theShore. A race through #theCitadel, its ventilation and sewage networks, and more would be required to survive.
In this adventure, the faint of heart will not escape the teaming #Nov2022s.

The buzz of them could be heard from the shore. There was no time. We ran into the citadel and shut the sliding metal doors and stuffed perspex covid-dividers at the gap under the door.
Would it be enough?
Then the red insects could be seen from behind the covid divider. They could not see us. A person wearing the same colour red shoes stepped up to the door too. We waited forever in a moment. They all left in union.
