🇲🇷 In #Mauretanien operiert die #GuardiaCivil mit zwei Patrouillenbooten, einem Hubschrauber und 14 Geländewagen, die „regelmäßig durch ein Überwachungsflugzeug und ein Hochseeschiff verstärkt werden“.
Sie bildet dort örtliche Polizeikräfte aus und hat ein #SIVE ähnliches Radarsystem installiert.
In #Nouakchott und #Nouadhibou sind insges. 34 Beamte stationiert.

Mauritanie: entre dunes et montagne de #Mauritanie, l'oasis de Maaden, utopie fraternelle
L'oasis de Maaden s'étire comme une coulée verte bordant une mer de sable infinie. C'est sur cette terre isolée de tout, dans l'Adrar, qu'un guide spirituel soufi, Mohammed Lemine Sidina, a installé sa communauté à 400 km au nord-est de #nouakchott et fondé en 1975 le village de Maaden el Ervane, "le gisement du savoir" en hassanya, dialecte mauritanien.

the road in mauretania is quite narrow and in bad condition...
after the frenchies fixed one of the camions along the road we reached #nouakchott late night.
we are so happy that we met these guys! it was a pleasure to travel together down the long deserty land. hopefully we will meet again! pour cuisinier un menu vrai pour vous 🧑🍳😅
we spent a day at auberge samiraa and this morning we packed our bicycles, said goodbye to our new friends and started pedaling direction south 🚴♂️🚴
