Speaking as someone who enjoys watching #football, I just have to say that the sport as a whole is riddled with corruption, it's manifestly bad for the players to play it, and it takes money away from important things in society. The Chiefs should change their name/mascot and stop doing that incredibly demeaning chop cheer. Sports as a whole need to be examined as a pastime and as a focus of hyper-masculine toxicity, to say nothing of gambling, about which much could be said.
That all said, I'm mildly bummed the Eagles didn't win because my family has Philly ties. Congratulations to the Chiefs, who really ought to do better on the whole #NotYourMascot thing.
Oh, and Europe, you started calling it soccer before we did so really it's on you that this is confusing. #ShotsFired
