Sometimes there are Linux programs that are just not worth the effort. For me, today, that became VMWare Workstation. I've tried to install it in Fedora and Debian, and can't get it to work.

VirtualBox works fine. The supposed performance benefits of vmware are simply not worth the hassle. For me, anyway. YMMV.

Tried a more relaxed approach to my contractually obliged day in the office today.

Figured I would wander to the station and see how it went.

Still ended up running for the train

Then the journey home got a bit .... Diverted due to an issue in the tunnel - so the trip home went via Gloucester....

Thankfully they delayed a connecting train so my trip home will be about 3.5 hours rather than 4.5 ...

It should have been just under 2 hours ...
