@I_Choose_Exile On the same note, I saw this candy in a Japanese market.
男梅キャンディ literally translates as "Man Plum Candy."
The price tag calls them Otokoume Nodoame. Nodoame is hard candy, but it literally translates as "Throat Candy."
And those mascots... They're pickled plums, but they look...😅
Oh, and they're salty...
