Sharing war stories today, I heard one about a startup where half came from one tech company where ops were dev's bitches, and the other half from one where devs were op's bitches and they spent most of their time flying back and forth in a private jet to bitch at each other, and I can't stop cackling about it.

Remember when AOL and MSN were bitch-slapping each other over access to messenger users?
I do. I was the tester, sleeping under my desk between “emergency” builds for days.
Years later, I ended up on an app date with a dev from the AOL team. We swapped war stories, not DNA. It sounded equally glamorous on that end. 🤓
I found a post about it by someone else once. I guess the dude making the changes on our end was still in High School. 🤣

My spidey senses told me the dog was up to no good. She was on the other side of the yard so I couldn't see her very well but when I looked over at her she nonchalantly laid down. Having had a kid who was often up to no good, I walked over to her and she sat up, wouldn't make eye contact and tried to pretend she was observing birds. She was also trying to lick the dirt off her nose like I was born yesterday.
