Me: Maybe I should stop buying these MegaBloks Pokémon kits
Also Me This Past Weekend: Ooooh, Combee from Dollar General. I don't have that one, score!

I may have a problem.

Regardless, Combee is very cute. They come with a stick to elevate them on the Pokéball, which is a nice touch.

The initial connection points with the hexagonal patterns were a little annoying, but overall not super complicated to build.

Very cute. Glad I snatched it.

Continuing to work my way through all my MegaBloks Pokémon kits, we come to the adorable Sprigatito.

I love me a grass type starter. They are my default when I play any new Pokémon game. Sprigatito is sooo cute!

Unlike Dedenne, the rubbery parts worked pretty well. Maybe I was just better at lining them up this time. :mew_giggle:

Anyway, I'm down to only a couple more then I just need to hope I find more in the wild! These kits are just so cute.

Continuing to work my way through all my MegaBloks Pokémon kits, we come to a different Pika-clone, Dedenne.

Another adorable electric rodent, this time a dual fairy type. This figure was a little more annoying with the rubbery antennae / whiskers to get them set up, but that was the hardest part. The tail is a long rubbery thing. For display purposes, I have to keep it in Dedenne's hand or it is all over the place.

The last picture also includes MDMRN Twin 1's (12 YO) hand. For her birthday, I got her an Eevee kit and she wanted to show it off too if I was showing off Dedenne.

Anyway, very cute kit! I have I think about 3 more of them left before I'm out of 'em to build.

I hope I run into more of them randomly in the wild cause they're fun and I'm building quite the team of 'Mons at my work desk.

Yes, it's in hangry mode.

Morpeko is an adorable, angry Pika-clone in its hangry mode.

Always fun.

Anyway, I still have a handful left at home to build...and, of course, will snag more when I see them.

I posted before some of my birthday stuff. One of the things I got myself were two MegaBloks Pokemon kits - Litten and Popplio.

Here they are built in all their adorable glory!

Love these.

Still have like...4 more kits left to build at home.

And MDMRN Twin 1 helped me a bit with them. She now wants the Eevee kit :mew_giggle:

Her birthday is at the end of next week. I think that can be managed.

In honor of Pokopia...and since I had it handy, I decided to build my Ditto MegaBloks kit.

Ditto was pretty easy to build. What was interesting is that after you build the base, there is a rubbery suit basically that goes over top of it to give you that continuous look.

It's cute! Love these kits.

I still have a number of them at home left to build, so I'll keep sharing them as I build them.

Last weekend, I built myself another cute Mega Construx Pokémon set.

This one I found at Dollar General for $20. It's not the cute Pokéball kits, but this one is very fun with Galarian Meowth and Toxel. Every single region deserves a Meowth variant.

Every one.

Anyway, it was easy to put together and came out really cute.

Love these little sets and will likely keep buying various ones I find.

Of note: Dollar General in the US recently upped their price by like 4 bucks a pop of the Pokéball kits. Which sucks, cause when I first got them from there they were less than 10 bucks, but are now like $12.50 or so. Oof.

This past weekend, I constructed a couple more of the MegaBloks' Pokémon kits.

This time we've got Fidough and Pachirisu. They are so very cute! Needed to get a cute picture of them outside. Wild 'Mons in the tall grass.

I really enjoy these kits and it's too bad that they're no longer being made.

Made a few more of the MegaBloks' Pokémon kits over my long weekend. Two of my kids helped me out a little bit...only a little bit.

Cubone and Squirtle two pack. They both look cute.

Had to put them next to their tiny plastic figurines I happened to have.

Yes, I do like these kits. It's too bad they're disappearing.

I saw this block building kit at Walgreens. It was a Peeps basket. Looked very cute as a decoration for Easter, so I got it and built it on my lunch break at work yesterday.

It looks very cute in my office and went together nicely.

Would get another kit from Brick Craft to try out.

I was at Five Below with the kids this past weekend and for $1, I found a bin that had some Retro Blocks block building kits from Block Tech. They had a number of 80s looking items, including this faux Gameboy with the wrong number of buttons.

I've not done any Block Tech kits before and wasn't sure how well they held up, but for a buck, I was willing to take the risk.

It connected together pretty easy. Easy enough instructions and it looks like a cute, fake Gameboy.

Would get another one.

I started building this year's #WinterVillage and began with something very #NotLego, Fun Whole's "Ski Lodge". It's a tad bigger than I thought (as I ignored the size info when I bought it).

While browsing #AliExpress I came across of a non-licensed #LEGO Wall-E set. This piqued my interest so I ordered one priced at 24 Euro. I must say: the quality of the bricks and guide are more than okay. I'll see if it totally disintegrates on me in a few days, but for now, I'm impressed. #NotLEGO

Step 177 of 536. Another missing piece, but easy to fix later so I don't have to wait this time. Backside of the head/torso is almost complete. This thing is heavy!

Update on my #NotLego adventure!

Step 98 of 526. Yes I'm taking my time :) There were a few missing pieces. Same type, so obviously a packing error. No big issue, could buy those for only a couple of cents from #Bricklink. I'm not surprised given the piece-count and low price of the set. Errors happen. Still hope that those were the only missing pieces. Stay tuned!

Step 33 out of 526. 3558 pieces, not pre-sorted. That will take a while to complete ;)
