I’m no rail expert but I just watched a news clip about a plan to build tunnels for the #MAX lightrail with the goal of speeding up service and I’m 🧐. I concede it would likely improve speed, but wouldn’t programming the traffic lights to be fully reactive to MAX trains do it _for a lot less money_ and be a lot more convenient for riders? Also, ban cars downtown #NotKidding.
