I'm hearing that a lot of people hated the Nothing Phone 3 when it came out and they called it ugly.
What's wrong with those people? I think it's the most beautiful phone I have ever seen, and I never really cared for the design of phones before.

I've recently switched to a Nothing phone, and the biggest annoyance has been the stupid AI button AKA the "Essential Spaces" button, which is situated close to the center of gravity of the phone, right where you hold it. Meaning it does its pointless Clippy style "assistance" whenever you absolutely don't need it.
But thanks to these instructions I've managed to re-map it so that it now toggles the torch, but only if I long-press it. Not only did it get rid of Clippy, but turns out a physical button for the flashlight is actually really useful.

Yesterday I received my #NothingPhone (3) back from the service center after it had suddnely just stopped working (would not enumerate, or charge) after an OTA. The service report indicates that motherboard, battery and some internal wiring was replaced with new units.
My suspicion is that the OTA bricked something and that the service center either broke the cable or broke the cable and battery and thus all three were replaced.

Ich finde es doof und unverständlich, dass ich nicht in der lage bin auf jedem gerooteten gerät auch z.B. Ubports zu installieren.
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass #ubports #lineageos #Yollaphone #nothingphone etc. zusammen tun würden und eine art #Wrapper oder #VM Layer wo treiber und Quirks liegen. Also eine zwischenschicht zwischen individueller PhoneHardware + config file erschaffen, so dass man dahinter ein standardisiertes Image laden kann.

Es ist soweit, dass #nothingphone1 hat sein letztes Update erhalten. Entweder ich wechsle nun auf #lineageos oder kaufe ein neues Gerät.
Eigentlich unnötig, dass Gerät funktioniert noch top...
