#TIL: Heute (bzw. gestern) habe ich gelernt, dass die Voreinstellung „B&W Film” meiner #NothingPhone2 Kamera-App dem fertigen Bild bestimmte Meta-Daten in einem schwarzen Rahmen aufdruckt, aber seht selbst (oder lest den ALT-Text des Bildes).

A while ago I uploaded some photos taken with my new phone. I have since deleted them, because I learned that the default camera app on this phone uses generative AI to modify every photo taken through it. This cannot be turned off. It is not so noticeable in some photos, but very apparent in others.
So if anyone is into phone photography, I recommend staying away from Nothing brand phones until they allow their users to turn off this completely unnecessary and destructive "feature".
If you do have a Nothing phone, I recommend installing another camera app to bypass this. I got Proshot, which is a paid app that has a lot of neat features (even if they are pretty poorly documented).

All this talk of a #LinuxPhone is wonderful. But it's going to be a long time before I can buy a phone from #TMobile or #BoostMobile that has #Phosh or #KDEMobile on it, and only takes a few steps to setup. So it would be nice to go to a phone store and get a #NothingPhone or a #JollaPhone like that. But it's not happening any time soon.

My fuzzy-ness has just saved me money. I was so close to buying into the #nothingPhone ecosystem. The 4A Pro looks awesome and the headphones match so well.

Anyway, in 2026, I expect all phones to have MagSafe like feature. It is disappointing that the only android phones thus far that have it #pixel phones from #google

I was excited for the #nothingphone4a , however it is not coming to the US. The Pro model is. I think my biggest gripe is that currently, there are still no specs listing the USB port speeds.

Why do phone companies still ship USB2 speed ports on phones?!

My #thinkphone really was ahead of it's time for price point/performance.
