Friends are doing one of those multi-day organised-ish walks in Japan, not far from Osaka. I asked if there were many others walking and they told me about a woman who was really unwell yesterday. Lots of coughing, feeling terrible with a "really bad cold".
So, #notCOVID then?
Narrator: from the symptoms they described, it's likely #COVID19. I dare say they'll have it in the next couple of days.

Lucira is dead.Yeah more will have severe outcomes, but I'm not too sure about acute illness.
The uptake of the last iteration was so poor, that I don't think the amount of people getting the vax is going to materially be different.
My theory is that more are having zero immediate response and then suffering/dying mysteriously of #NotCovid, e.g. strokes, pneumonia, etc.

Been trying to get out more in my job so I’m off to Salford and then York today. By bus, then train, but no bike as I’m still not well in my chest. #NotCovid

COVID test is negative to its probably "just" a cold. Feels like "Man Flu" though.

@anomnomnomaly I've had a similar (though certainly not as bad as what you've been through) end to last year and start to this one. Getting over a couple of bouts of #NotCovid in quick succession has left me pretty unfit and about 30lbs too heavy.

Some are curious about my age because of my recent birthday. As an older woman you must understand I'm a bit reticent to share that information. But, what the Hell, I trust you all. 😊

Good morning tooters.
Took a covid test this morning. I’m negative & kind of knew I would be, but last night I was very stuffed up, snotty & headachy & the same this morning. I did mow my lawns yesterday though & I seem to get like this each time I mow at this time of year. I take a test each time too - just in case. So Claratyne it will be & thankful it’s not covid.

A rare full rainbow cheered me up yesterday when I left work early as I have ANOTHER cold, the second in under 4 weeks. 🤧😷😣 Working from home ensures I don’t spread it to others and I can make as many cups of homemade ginger tea as I want! My voice still hadn’t got back to strength, so I’ve done almost no singing for 4 weeks - if you discount the couple of songs I croaked through last week!

Both my wife and I are sick wth a tight cough, sore throat; she has sinus issues. Two negative covid tests each, so yay.
We think its stress relief related, we were 110% for the last week with daughters wedding, got through it, and we were exhausted!
I put away 4 tons of wood pellets, a ton a day (50 bags) but procrastinated long enough yesterday the rain began. I had two naps instead. Mugs of hot tea. Eating lightly. Listening to my body. Wedding photos for attention.

I've been sick the last couple days for the first time since the week after the U.S. pandemic shutdown started. I've reluctantly stopped masking (my wife stopped wearing hers, so there wasn't much point), and I'm sure that''s a good bit of it. Mild but persistent chest cough. No fever. Blood O2 good. Some fatigue. Tested tonight and it's not Covid. Maybe just a chest cold. But I'll be glad when it leaves. Had gotten very used to NOT being sick! (CONT)
