A wicked combination is not caring about sports, and living near a large sports stadium. I didn't check for any stadium events (because I didn't think I needed to) and a quick 15 minute drive to get some lunch to go turned into 45 minutes, and that was taking the route home to avoid the traffic jam. What the hell is "the cotton bowl" anyway?

Just wanted to report that one of the horrid things about not giving a shit about sports is heading out on a quick errand and not realizing some big game is happening until you're caught up in stadium traffic. A rough Sunday evening for this non-sportsting guy.
