Today's motif for #WindowFriday is the old #cityhall in #Leipzig. Located on the east side of the #Messestadt market square, it is considered one of the most important secular buildings of the #Renaissance in #Germany with a very interesting (architectural) history. As a special feature, the asymmetrical facade of the town hall is orientated exactly to the #GoldenSection. The pictures show (un)symmetrical sections of the #facade.

DE: Zum heutigen #meermittwoch gibt es den #Leuchtturm #Dornbusch auf #Hiddensee zu sehen. Genau genommen steht er auf dem rund 70 Meter hohen #Schluckwieksberg im Norden der Insel. Das #Leuchtfeuer kann seit 1994 über 102 Stufen bestiegen werden. Die amtliche Bezeichnung lautet Leuchtfeuer Dornbusch/Hiddensee. Der Leuchtturm wurde in die Denkmalliste des Landkreises Vorpommern-Rügen aufgenommen.

EN: Today's "meermittwoch" features the #Lighthouse Dornbusch on Hiddensee. To be precise, it stands on the 70 metre high Schluckwieksberg in the north of the island. The lighthouse can be climbed via 102 steps since 1994. The official name is the Dornbusch/Hiddensee beacon. The lighthouse was added to the list of monuments of the district of Vorpommern-Rügen.
