Anyone knows how to contact the fine people behind notabug.org?
There’s quite a few Guix/Guile-adjacent projects there that we should probably migrate to Codeberg, but we can’t do that properly without their help (adding Codeberg IPs to an allow-list on their side would be enough).

okies, decided, today's the day... gonna start moving my repositories to codeberg... notabug.org's too consistently inconsistently available. n_n a little sad. mmmmmmuch fondness for notabug.org. ... i wonder, if i leave the repository off the end of the url in codeberg's migration tool... does it allow migrating everything in one go? :3
or should i skip codeberg, and go full forgejo? :)

@glennf this is the same wrong markdown support that “Things”, by Cultured Code, has.
The worst part of Cultured Code implementation of markdown is that in the FAQ they acknowledge the client’s complaints, but they know better. (!)
I can see Apple doing the same.

@Patrick, the Linux guy #Github is not the only git-based source code repository hoster out there, in case that's what you've believed until discovering this post.
Two other alternatives which are not owned and ruled over by #GAFAM or any other Silicon Valley megacorp would be:

This is #NotABug but a feature.
The same legal system delivers more planet-wrecking profit-making to the already wealthy on the say-so of a #corrupt government that has consistently aligned with #DirtyEnergy while denying the scientifically-backed evidence of #Indigenous truth-tellers.

Cruelty and mismanagement are not bugs, they are features of a system that has been broken by design by those who think poverty ought to be punished, since people get what they deserve and if you are poor then you must deserve it, hence punishment.
The purpose of this belief is revealed by its correlate: I deserve my privilege and comfort and do no need to feel any empathy or pain for those who needlessly suffer on unimaginable scales. I can put them out of my mind, confident that they, like me, are getting what they deserve.
This is the core of #conservative politics, and is known as #JustWorldBelief. It entails #VictimBlaming as a core commitment. And justifies the deliberate infliction of cruelty (even the petty but real bureaucratic cruelty of pointlessly bad design for a welfare system).
