@VoxOfGod Joining the chorus saying “scent games!” I teach #NoseWork classes and it is fantastic for older dogs and dogs/people who have limited ability or energy. You can check the NACSW website to see if there are any instructors near you. Otherwise, there are videos on YouTube.

@caban4 I’m very glad to hear that for you! I’ve seen similar results in the last few months as I’m teaching Nose Work classes: dogs come in with big feelings, and once they understand the game, they get so focused that it regulates their emotions and behavior.

His nose is 5 for 5 tonight even though I’m not sure he can always hear the clicker on a successful find anymore. He likes to try and cheat more in his old age though. Keeps trying to sneak a look around the corner before I’ve got it hidden. #Nosework

Casper is becoming a relaxed, happy, and confident #dog. At six months old he's also still a terror lol. Very busy. Since my #dad #died I haven't done as much #training with him as I should. I should train my dog to do this, and then maybe he’d be allowed to come to work with me. He can smell cheddar at crazy distances, so I’m sure he’d be a winner at this task.
