Yesterday I had a lovely
Interaction with
A lady on the bus.
She is visiting from Germany
And was returning from
A day spent in a forest.
We bonded over our
Love of trees.
She asked for
A recommendation
For a place to visit.
I first mentioned Lynn Canyon
And she said that’s
Where she spent the day
And it was wonderful.💟🌳💟

Today I took myself to a forest for some much-needed nature time. There’s a Save-On grocery store nearby so I stopped in.
They have a *huge* health section. The nutritionist came to see if I was finding everything + I mentioned I was happy to see the selection of brands.
I noted one for hot flashes + he was surprised I needed that. He said he thought I was 35 but I told him I’ll be 55 this year.
I love seeing surprised reactions to my age.

I met Ruth while walking with a friend after work during the first year of the pandemic. She is a wonderful soul; a true light. She has given me food from the garden featured in the short film. I love the flowers and other decorations in the roundabouts. I hope to see her once I can walk.
