I meant this, by the way. I know the odds are low, but does anyone local want a 13-year-old 7-speed Schwinn Gateway?
It's not a good bike but it has a comfortableness to it. Terrible for hills, but not so bad on the flats. You'd want new tubes and tyres, these are ancient even if they do still hold air and have tread.
No warranty, obviously, get any new-to-you bike checked out before riding, etc etc etc. It's free and entirely at your own risk.

i've thrown an adjustment into my current solar battery experiment and am charging the backup batteries to 50% off mains power just in case
(and didn't just start now, started around 10 when this ramped up)

For a fraction of a second I literally thought something - something big - crashed into something else also big. Like an airplane. Or at least a really big truck. Or an airplane _into_ a really big truck. Which given Kenmore Air's all-seaplane airport is theoretically even possible.

still raining but slowly enough that my weather station can't tell, it says "rainy" which means "was raining recently, may again soon"
the next .25mm (if we get there) will kick it back to "rain" at 1.3mm/hour and update the total, there's a little spoon inside under a funnel that fills up and tips
fifteen goddamn
eta: no! it tipped but i guess it needs two tips within a certain time period. it just says "rainy" still, but has updated the total.

Tomorrow I will check 5th Ave NE in Shoreline near Shoreline South light rail station. That got sketched out (with marker paint on pavemenet) about the same time 61st NE did, so hopefully they're going too.

I just edited some of the absolutely oldest lines on this map. With the exception of one block south of 193rd, 61st Ave NE northern bike lanes are OPEN.
Now Briar just has to get its act together and we really will be in business.

Hel-LO 61st!
(61st Ave NE in Kenmore. There’s still a block long gap between new and existing lanes but that whole area still needs painting in general. Also there are crosswalks awaiting paint all along the street.)
