Every couple of weeks I’m documenting progress on one of my projects in the form of stream of consciousness videos, with no editing, in Polish. The auto-generated and auto-translated captions on YouTube are surprisingly good, so I thought I might as well link it here.

I'm ashamed to admit but I'm actually afraid of messing up... things. Things I shouldn't be scared of; default layouts in programs like Kdenlive; those little x buttons on tool bars (I can easily get back again); stock settings on music production gear; plugins on code editors...
I wasn't like this as a kid - the opposite in fact. I got my hands dirty and I made a mess of computer systems; I deleted things I shouldn't have; I broke things all the time. It's how I learned. Now somehow I don't do that and I don't know why.
I've sacrificed creativity for safe, comfort?
Recently everywhere I look I hear people talk about getting comfortable with failure, sharing your work even if you don't think it's good enough, and getting messy to find what works better. This reoccurring theme maybe isn't coming to me at the best time in my life but maybe an important time. Today marks the day I get scrappy.
