One benefit of modern armoured tyres is the direct cause of the puncture is often obvious. Today it was a 2x3mm metal shard, possibly a bit of broken grommet. Indirect cause is #NorfolkCountyCouncil contractors mashing the verges instead of mowing them & not sweeping up what gets thrown out. #biketooter #cycling
@JugglingWithEggs @rj yeah, I remember it seemed a bit sneaky, #NorfolkCountyCouncil ending the delegation of city roads to #NorwichCityCouncil pretty quietly after the first round or two of "Cycle City Ambition", then not correcting people if they complained to the wrong council, and adding as many carriageway resurfacings and similar to any further #activeTravel projects so nobody was really happy with Cllr Plant. His traffic lights at our A148/NCN1 junction have never worked for #NCN1.

This is the same Road Safety Team that objected to a #cycleway continuing across a junction but approved this as a better solution in #kingsLynn #NorfolkUK - I feel the main reason this hasn't killed anyone yet is that most people ignore it and rejoin the carriageway before the end of the road, or turn left and U turn (the "primary" cycle route continues on-road away from the camera). Or give up cycling this route after one attempt and drive because that's what #NorfolkCountyCouncil expect
