  1. Which neural circuits allow memory retrieval to influence behaviors? This study shows how #fear #memory activation initiates & sustains #FreezingBehavior in mice via the interplay of #norepinephrine & activation of different prefrontal #neuron subtypes @PLOSBiology plos.io/3TGqt7a

  2. My GF by mistake came up with a word that I will be using: #Norepineuphoria

Or the feeling of anger that happens when you argue with people passionately. Which comes from the neurotransmitter #Norepinephrine

  7. The most frequent “interventions” that were judged appropriate were:

1/ Doing nothing: #Zentensivism is not #WhatAboutism, it needs documentation and #Monitoring to ensure we have enough argument that it is the right thing to do

  11. CW: #Fasting, #Anxiety

I've been alternating a 16:8 and one meal a day pattern (#OMAD) since Monday.

I'm definitely more alert, and #Hunger isn't much of a problem.

But the extra #Norepinephrine that kicks in with fasting (expected result) means that I am definitely more irritable and anxious. And it takes me longer to get back to sleep after the usual 3 am awakening.

This downside is greatly outweighed by the benefits, which I'll say more about separately.

  12. There are articles about how #exercise can cause #insomnia (because of #EPOC, #cortisol, and #norepinephrine), but I haven't found anything yet about how to train hard and still #sleep well. Very frustrating.
