#nordunet — Public Fediverse posts

Public traffic graph of NORDUnet (collaboration of Nordic NRENs) ie https://bgp.tools/as/2603 customer traffic https://stats.nordu.net/stat-q/r-all?q=all&name=Customers

All other connection graphs can be seen at https://stats.nordu.net/connections.html

Upstream transit via Arelion seems low https://stats.nordu.net/stat-q/r-all?q=all&name=Telia-IC (most traf seems to go via multiple peering links)

Nordic NRENs #FUNET, @sunet & #Sikt continue the progress towards "Terabit to the Tundra".
Today the optical networks of Sikt and FUNET were interconnected at Skibotn (70' north).
Next step: deliver 4 Tbps network to #EISCAT_3D, a next-generation incoherent scatter radar system, will significantly improve its data handling and transfer capabilities, benefiting scientists studying the Earth's upper atmosphere and near-Earth space in the region.. 🌍🔬 #Connectivity #Science #ArcticResearch #NORDUnet
