  1. @chad @OhOkKay
I spent the Thanksgiving weekend at #Nordegg and saw that there was a LOT of #camping that was available, both provincial and crown land. Very nice unserviced lots, none of which can be reserved. Also, municipal camping can be pretty great for a low price (bring cash). The Backroads mapbooks identify camping in all sorts of out-of-the-way locations. I prefer to make reservations but the fees are really escalating and the availability is increasingly reduced.

  3. @McRocker Thanks, you figured correctly! Fall in #nordegg is lovely and encouraging #ultra runners is the next best thing to running an ultra!

  5. Only a small representation of a fabulous fall weekend in the Canadian Rockies, based out of #Nordegg. I highly recommend the Shunda Creek Hostel as a homebase for exploring the area. Investigated many spots ate a semi-traditional meal, played Scrabble, and watched as much sky as possible.

  7. My two oldest went out & chopped trees for our family this Christmas. Here’s a very presentable black spruce from public land out by #nordegg, Alberta. May put on the lights & garland this week, but the kids always do the decorating & turn it into a party. I’m so blessed they still love our old traditions, even though they’ve all left home now. Can’t wait until we’re all together again #christmas #Christmastree
