Some unpacking on this: I'm actively looking for distractions. I know I have a tendency to get fixated on things and I figure I might as well lean into it.
I've finally "got" sports a bit: I like the rhythm of seasons, the build up to a finale, the personalities, the technical/theory analysis, and the random element of humans trying to do stuff at a super elite level (but sometimes shit just breaks or someone trips).
Also, there's a local angle (for hockey and F1)

Hey, if you're a performer of any sort and you have someone you trust watching, get them to record the performance for you. Having access to archives of your work is important to show to peers and veterans to get feedback and grow, as well as yourself. I don't care if it's dance, acting, wrestling, stand up, etc, get someone to record you.
