Oh my gosh, my guys, I found a paper that copes with Noodler's Baystate Blue without bleeding! It's super unexpected! Rhodia paper bleeds, Clairefontaine paper bleeds, Leuchtturm paper bleeds, everything bleeds, especially when I write slowly.
So naturally I expected feathering and bleeding above and beyond every other paper when I tried the cheap paperzone paper from a local store. Being cheap and with 70 gsm fairly thin paper, what could possibly go right? Turns out: this paper doesn't bleed at all! I had to torture the paper to get it to bleed. I am beyond impressed.

I ended up deviating from the original plan. I wanted to have Noodler's Baystate Blue in just one fountain pen and that was (and still is) a TWSBI Eco with a medium nib. However, it puts down a lot of ink and feathers on the otherwise fountain pen friendly paper I use. I'll have to see how I wanna deal with that.
In the meantime, I had a TWSBI Eco with an extra fine nib lying around. I wasn't happy with it because I didn't like how the writing looked. Probably flow issues in combination with some inks. So I put Noodler's Baystate Blue in that. This combination of pen, nib and ink works great because the ink is so saturated. It doesn't have to put down a lot of ink for the color to pop. So now I have BSB in two pens.
