  10. Since my Feeld match isn't available for the next month, I'm in the market for someone new to fancy for the summer.

Preferably in the UK so that I don't have to work out time differences (they make my brain hurt), preferably funny, preferably #nonmonogamous.

If you have any hot friends, SEND THEM MY WAY.

    #polyamorous #nonmonogamous - Have been for around 10 years

#gamedev - A passing interest, don't think I'll ever make anything but I like to know the nuts and bolts behind everything

    Other passing interests: #cats #frogs #magic #goblin #moss #sea #audiodrama

Likely to reply to this in future with added things I forgot, or extra tags I want to see.

    Hello 💖

  17. CW: long, introduction post

Here we go on another #introduction !

I'm Meowry, a Brazilian queer software engineer, focused mostly in #FrontEnd development.

Out of work my interests include #makeup, #goth and #cyber subculture, heavy music -- mostly #metal and its subgenres but also eletronic music and #jrock (can you guess what my handle is referencing btw? hehe).

I'm a sociologist at heart and almost got a degree on that field but that's a long story. I'm passionate about academic studies about #gender and #queer #sexuality.

I am #nonmonogamous for more than a decade now and you'll definitely see me talking about it here. I love and support many #erotica and #nsfw art and eventually I'll boost them -- always with CW and image sensitivity filter on by default!

There's a lot more to talk about so feel free to follow! I'll toot mostly in Portuguese-BR but also English.

Thanks for having me! :ablobcatbongo: :BoostOK:

  23. CW: NSFW - butt

The first sincere encounter we had on our quest to turn me into the 21st century embodiment of the whore of Babylon ended up being with Mr. Martini. And it happened by accident.

  30. We got these because we wanted something that was meaningful to us. We'd seen plane #tattoos signifying #LongDistanceRelationships, and Greg is a bit of a space geek.. so a rocket/planet piece seemed like a fun riff on that.

We decided I'd have the planet because one of the incredibly romantic and loving things he does is, after not seeing each other for 6 months (3 years during covid), and we finally get to have sex again, is he always makes a comment about finally being home again.. and I like the idea that he finds 'home' when he's with me. Especially being #NonMonogamous, it would be easy to feel like his home with his wife is more than his home with me.. but it's not. We're both home.

I also feel that the rocket/planet thing fits with #NonMonogamy, because you can have more than one rocket visiting a planet, and more than one planet visited by a rocket.. it's not a 'you're my other half' type of image.

We wanted the pieces to link, but not be identical. We wanted it so that when we held hands they lined up together.

We wanted cutesy, and the whole fairy, unicorn, glitter, and rainbows vibe.

I think the artist (SamSparkels) hit the brief perfectly, and I absolutely love both pieces!

  35. I'm in a #NonMonogamous #LongDistance #relationship. I live in Australia & my partner lives in London.

We started dating in 2018, with plans to see each other in person every 6 months (he'd come here each June/July, & I'd go there each Dec/Jan). The long term plan was for me and my housemate to move to the UK around 2021 or so.

    Then #covid happened.

I flew back home from the UK on New Year's Eve 2019, Australia closed borders a couple of months after that. They stayed closed for a long time. There were a lot of moments over those years where I thought we'd never see each other again, bc I could imagine Australia keeping borders closed.

We didn't see each other for 883 days & every single one of those days I folded up a tiny paper heart, often crying over it, & popped it into this jar.

It helped me see that, while there are a LOT of hearts there, a lot of days that we missed out on. It didn't fill up the jar, they weren't crammed into the jar & weren't spilling out of the top.

This jar holds a containable and manageable amount of sadness.

He visited me in June. We got to spend 5 weeks together, but we couldn't make up for 883 days missed out. What we could do, instead of trying to chase that lost time, is put energy into the next 883 days, and the 883 after that.. and so on.

I gave him the jar of hearts and sadness to take back home with him, because when he looks at it he sees a jar of caring and love.

    I'm visiting him in January.

  40. In today's expansion post of my #bio & #introduction

    I'm #RA (relationship anarchist)

As I've already explained in another expansion post, I'm an #anarchist. For me, an important part of that #anarchism is letting my beliefs about #hierarchy inform my personal #relationships - including my #romantic & #sexual ones.

I'm not RA in the way a lot of #poly dudebros are, where they use RA as a sticker to cover their (imo unethical) relationship libertarianism. My RA is about having relationships that are defined by the people within them, that are communicated through generously, that are about bringing truth & vulnerability to the table and dealing with other people in ways that are kind and let them know how precious & valuable they are.

I'm in a #NonMonogamous #LongDistanceRelationship with someone who is married.. but this isn't the only relationship I have. I have a housemate who I've built a life with over the last 20 years, and friends who I rely on and support. None of these relationships are less important to me than the others, none of them are loved less by me. My relationships don't exist hierarchical for me.

Greg (my partner) and I often talk about how our relationship group works, and the importance of triaging and having a non-transactional style - if someone needs more time, energy, care, we try moving things around so they can get what they need, and we do so without the expectation that they'll 'pay back' that extra time etc.

  48. So, when I came up with the PolySaturated Fats idea (#polyFats)

    (🐦🔗: twitter.com/SugarCunt/status/1 )

it was to give some anecdotal insight into being very fat and very nonmonogamous.

So here's how it went having a local partner stay the night at my house

(where I live with my nesting partner) for the first time

    (dynamic/etiquette-wise, not slamming-wise.) 🧵 (1/14)
