The more things we discover about Appie's identites the more isolated we feel, as not many seem to want to put effort to accomdate them. It makes us so angry, and so, so, sad. We just keep being pushed further and further back against a glass wall that we do not want to shatter. But it feels like we must. We must shatter this wall, no but we must jump through it with no hesitation. We will probably be leaving more chats and disappearing from the public. Not many want to accomedate us by using the words we prefer, then we won't be around those manys.
It saddens us oh so, so, so much. Our souls just get chipped and chipped each time somemany calls us "You". "You", "You", You", "You". This accursed word that forms the foundation of the English language. Fuck it. We hate it, we dislike it, fuck it. It feels too confrontational to us, and we dislike confrontations. We say no. We will say no to English. Fuck this imperialist language that spread itself throughout the world like a fucking disease. We are opressed, and we use the language of the opressor. What. A. Fucking. Joke.
So it may come as no surprise to many of you/you&/yall&/yall/we that Appie will start considering to learn toki pona more seriously. It seems more promising, as it doesn't have bigoted pronouns.

At the end of the day, it's not about our diet. It's about the fact that non-human animals are individuals, too, who want to live. The same things that give humans intrinsic dignity also apply to other animals with brains and nervous systems.
I would like to find some other way of referring to them besides "non-human" animals... humans are animals, too, so it's logical. But if we've seen other ideas, please let me know. I want to decentralize the human and not collectivize everyone else.
It's less about "veganism" and who is "vegan" and more about... are we recognizing animals' intrinsic dignity and will to live, and are we willing to take steps to put that into action.
Centering their lives, not our own comforts and desires. Because we're capable of the added reflection, we have this moral duty to use such knowledge and put it into practice. If we don't, we're wasting this faculty.
