#nonapology — Public Fediverse posts

My suggestion for anyone is: [Aa, Etou: DIO DA!]
Apologise with no minimisation for exactly what you now wish you hadn't done.
Explain what you will choose in future, instead.

Describe what your ideal outcome was, compared to what your ideal outcome is now.
Include clear reasoning for why it was harmful.
Outline how people can check you are progressing toward your goals.

Don't expect forgiveness.
Apply your analysis of this situation to other areas of your life.

I'm sorry that you were offended.

Andy Yen responds to criticism of his endorsement of Trump's antitrust pick and his criticism of Dems by... not addressing any of those things.

He apologizes for sharing his personal views in the wrong forum (labeled as "official communication"), blames social media, and promises to be more careful about tweeting in the future.

Nothing about sucking up to Trump or providing an even bigger fig leaf for Trump's government destruction agenda.

Hunt the Dinosaur Sort of Apologize for Posting Picture of Kyle Rittenhouse
The vocalist says he doesn't support Rittenhouse, which is hard to believe.

Yrittänyt tässä miettiä, miten tähän pitäisi suhtautua. Osin ollaan varmasti pahoillaankin, osin muistetaan väärin; kiusaamiseen osallistui myös yksi aikuinen eikä asia rajoittunut vain ns. suoraan kiusaamiseen. Oli myös ostrakismia ja toisen suosimista.

Että vähän #nonapology-feelis.

Mutta hyvin saatiin taas vuosikymmeniset haavat auki.

I’m sorry you think I let the dogs out. I’m sorry you are mad at that for me.

What, I apologized already! Why won’t you just let it go?
