Recent #FitCheck where once again I accidentally ended up wearing (almost) all black.
No dangly earrings, no complementary bracelets, etc. I didn't even wear any makeup that week (was too busy). Despite this, I think it works fine. I just needed to look at them on a better self-esteem day.

Folks who saw this on Signal offered (solicited) feedback on preferences between the two. It ended up being a tie, so y'all get to have both.

Since I haven't been on in a while, here's a post to let y'all know I'm okay. My spoons got scooped up by life and work things. It's just frustrating when it happens without warning, but also not what the post is about.

Anyway, it's been a bit chilly the past week or so. Sub-Zero temps (fahrenheit) and lots of snow. There was a 100+ car pileup not far from me the other day. I'm glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

I've been shoveling snow and breaking icicles a bunch. My fingers go numb very quickly despite thick gloves and hit hands. I might make a post for glove recs at some point soon depending on if I find something or not by the weekend.

It's also difficult to think when you run in from subzero to more livable temps, and your glasses fog up, and you can't get your boots, and outerwear off quickly enough.

Today, I took a break halfway (It's a significant amount of shoveling area and multiple feet of snow each time). My brain kicked in, but still not fast enough. It was only after I had finished peeling the sweat dampened drapey tank from my skin that I realized I really should have recorded that for the Fedi folks that like wet fabric being removed from toned torsos. Especially with flannel outer layers.

While I'll try to remember for next time, here's the rest of the aftermath as a sort of #PeekABoob

We also shaded the leaves of the vine on my back and in my opinion it gives it texture and depth. I'm a fan of the treble clef snuck in there as well as just how the vine happens to align with the tentacle holding the egg.

I made a batch of lemon bars today (Saturday). I decided to hop into a VC for a small discord server with friends. I figured I could chat, etc. while I was working on the repetitive part. And I know that there is a niche _somewhere_ for tattooed enbies clad in black cargo pants with a black top, ravenette hair, wearing black gloves doing things. Namely, carefully zesting a bunch of lemons, quartering them with gusto and squeezing them dry of their ~~~life force~~ juices. The camera ended up being a view of mostly my arms and torso with the lower half of my face and locs visible.

Nobody popped in this time, and just the lemon prep took me about an hour so I hopped off after that. Spent my time listening to sing-alongs with some intermittent dancing and whistling. This is typical for some of my kitchen routines, it helps me keep a rhythm with multiple timelines.

Now, to the point of this story: If I somehow worked up the confidence to try this for fedizens, what sort of platform should I be looking for? My discord VC setup for kitchen routines is my phone on a small flexible tripod at the back of a counter. So, phone streaming, preferably with picture-in-picture, some way to moderate, and Fedi approved?

The rope is tied to each leg and runs behind the back. Tied properly I shouldn't be able to close my legs, but self-ties are difficult to tighten properly. This is generally a very comfortable tie as well.

This was a tribute to the April #FullMoon using UV reactive hot flamingo pink nylon rope. It's slightly fancier than a regular pentagram harness and much more stable as one moves around. It's also yoinkable.

When people first learn to do good #Futomomo ties, they inevitably land on this position or something similar. It's rather convenient, but to maintain it for an extended period, the rope has to be tied with some skill, and the rope top and bottom need to remain alert as usual.

I highly recommend _not_ doing this on a hardwood floor because kneecaps are nice to have. I have decently strong support muscles, and I still don't like staying in this position on a floor for very long. I was really just reaching for my water after a walk/crawl from my cozy spot of the room.
