Morocco is a beautiful country, but the people can be a bit exhausting. The Berbers in the mountains are wonderful, but in the cities it’s different - you constantly have to count your change because they give you less or “forget” to give it back 😅. There are lots of scammers, and when taking a taxi you have to agree on the price beforehand or ask them to turn on the meter - they won’t do it on their own. It really wears me out. I’ll come back here one day, but only for the nature.
I have to admit though, my hosts at the riad were really great. The first thing they told me when I arrived was what to watch out for 😄 They kept warning me about phone thieves on scooters and advised me not to take out my phone too often.
It’s my first solo country in Africa, and I have to say - the first experience wasn’t the best 😅 But Africa isn’t a country, it’s a continent, and I’m sure there’s still a lot of good waiting for me here ❤️

Introducing #devBnB. A concept. Where city developers can “book” coding opportunities to go to a farm or small village project in need of open source/hardware expertise to build farm solutions, federated power grids, rural traffic solutions, reverse-engineer proprietary shit.

Great Nomad Living content here. Do give it a watch. When this guy gets philosophical about the debt-slave wage game, why the system discourages people from living outside of it, and why more and more people are opting out, he's speaking truth.
Whether someone chooses to live nomadically, downsize radically, or find their own unique path to freedom from the system, opting out is more than just a solution—it's a powerful act of self-determination.

as if there were not enough arguments for a #BasicUniversalIncome and coverage by a non profit oriented universal health insurance. look (also) at what this #COVID19 thing is only starting to do to people in #precarity, #nomadliving, #freelancing and #ART. for starters.
