Lisbon-based trio MAQUINA. are bringing their brand-new album "BODY TRANSMISSION" to Berlin!
Known as one of Europe’s most relentless live acts, the band fuses krautrock, industrial electronics, and noise into a high-impact, hypnotic sound. Moving away from spontaneous jams toward a heavier, more precise, and direct approach, their new record is fully centered on the energy of the dancefloor. "BODY TRANSMISSION" explores the concept of "body music," diving into a darker, more sensual, and immersive sonic universe.
The gateway into this experience is the opening track "dança"- a hypnotic invitation to a club-born trance. Driven by a repetitive, synth-like bassline, abrasive guitar bursts, and a classic four-on-the-floor beat, the track features a powerful vocal collaboration with Silvia Konstance from the Catalan duo Dame Area. When words fail, the body speaks: "I just want to dance" becomes the ultimate statement of the night.
