I've painted murals on two paneled doors in my lifetime. The second was a tribute to Batman, the first, a poster for our early Murder Movie "HARD AS NAILS." 1980s. #makingmovies #homemovies #homedecor #homedecoration #interiordecoration #interiordecorations #art #artwork #makingart #painting #painter #painters #paintings #oil #oilpainting #oilpaintings #noir #noirfilm #noirfilms #murder #murdermovie #mysterymovie #mysteries #poster #posters #batman #dccomics #dc #comicbook #comicbooks

"A superb piece": the BFI (British Film Institute) has a restored 4k version of 1949's Stray Dog by the iconic Akira Kurosawa, and starring the legendary Toshiro Mifune, coming out on January 27th. My review is up now on @PhilEdwards 's Live For Films now - https://www.liveforfilm.com/2025/01/22/blu-ray-review-akira-kurosawas-stray-dog-a-superb-piece-by-a-cast-and-crew-at-the-top-of-their-game/

Sweetman and I are regulars at the Retro film series at the Carolina theater in Durham, NC. They show everything from Kaiju to Casablanca. Friday night was a noir double feature: Criss Cross and Raw Deal. They’ve installed this greenscreen photo booth, so here we are as a noir couple. Fun, huh? Luckily, we usually leave the drama to the professionals. #oldmovies #noirfilm #datenight
