OK, so his character arc could be an inverted N, where he realizes Leo's gonna die and figures out how to profit.
-
From the Indigenous perspective, I think this would be to them as drilling through the roof of the Sistene Chapel to rescue a guy who was looting the place and got stuck under a pew would be to a Roman Catholic.

I mean this Leo guy has shit his pants at least twice by now
-
I mean, today Chuck would've set up a shady GoFundMe by now
-
Man, Chuck doesn't try to seduce Lorraine into staying, he browbeats her.
This makes his character an unrealistic sociopath to me. He doesn't know her well enough to abuse her like that and be sure it'll work because of his perceived power over her.
-
Kinda on Lorraine's side here in her beef against Leo
-
Lorraine doesn't have a Baltimore accent either
-
-
Lorraine (Jan Sterling) does not have a New Mexico accent.
-
So he's not interviewing Leo to get details on his life to make the story compelling.
Does he plan to make shit up?
-
oh you had better give him a couple depends with that thermos full of hot coffee
-
It would have been interesting to have him start as a kinda likeable and sympathetic down-on-his-luck guy who gradually sells his soul for this story
-
man part of me thinks tatum's personality is based on orson welles
-
Here's the problem with ya Chuck
You're not gonna find that story in the office
Get the hell out and fact check the AEC
