@msquebanh @RepShontelBrown I would second that statement. As a citizen of these states, but cognizant that I am not a constituent of yours, I believe it is imperative that we, as a nation, embrace #UDHR75 as the moment to ratify the ICESCR and provide “medicaraid” to anyone that is unable to work, due to reasons out of their control, per Article 25 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

@msquebanh @advances @Ulrich_the_Elder I’m not an attorney, so I can’t help too much there, but I’ve tracked down some documents re: the USA and ICESCR.
Have you tried reaching out to Amnesty International to get the legalese low-down on where the bodies are buried, so to speak?
I know exactly how you feel.

@Lowie How about another class action lawsuit against the Republicans and the Democrats for not yet ratifying the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights?
