Who could have seen it coming? After half a century (easily) of incessant warnings, unending attempts from the scientific community to make behaviors change, climate change is finally here for good, causing actual issues already (and you haven't seen *any* of it yet), and how do people react?

Introspection, shame, guilt, and attempts at reversing course?

Of *course* not. They are whining that their personal comfort is eroding.

I long for how the #internet was circa 2002-2015. Chronological feeds, simpler webpages that didn't take gigabytes of RAM, people had blogs hosted away from big corporations, and social media were still nice enough to show your posts to your followers, enabling artistic careers. Now, it's all enshittified, and with AI coming at such speed, there's just no hope for normality. And on top of that, we have the death of liberalism and increasing tensions.

74° and restaurants are running their patio heaters. There is no hope for humanity. Nothing we can do will prevent a climate apocalypse. If you can’t sit on a patio in 74° weather without running a fossil fuel heater *outside* no amount of my recycling, solar panels, or electric cars & appliances will save us.
