Deerhoof - Miracle-Level
How can you possibly try to describe a Deerhoof album in a tiny post?
You can’t really reference their previous albums, because they’re pretty eclectic and genre agnostic. Basically, anything goes…and here, what’s going is pretty poppy, but it’s their first album all in Japanese.
So maybe it’s best to say “virtuoso eclectic art pop”. Still pushing the form all these years later, and still intriguing.
