Demo against deportation of Iraq anarchist

Tonight (Friday) 30th, 8:00 p.m., Metro Station Meijersplein, Rotterdam

The cops arrested a comrade this week and brought them to the deportation center in Rotterdam. Our friend, a queer anarchist from Iraq, will be deported to Germany, after which Germany will deport them to Turkey or Iraq. Our comrade fears for their life in Iraq.

Tonight we want to show our solidarity and let our comrade and other inmates know thet weren't forgotten. In times of xenofobia and racism, the sideline belongs to the accoplices. Don't bail out on your comrades, come to the demo and take your friends too!

Op 28 juni om 14.00, komen we met duizenden uit heel Nederland samen in Amsterdam om te demonstreren voor vrije migratie en tegen het racistische Nederlandse migratiebeleid. We verzamelen op het Museumplein en gaan daarna de straat op.

The Dutch Border Police brutally tried to deport a person from the Netherlands. Witnesses report that the person was being abused psychologically and physically.

Thanks to our flyering at Schiphol, some brave passengers stood up to injustice and managed to stop the deportation. They also shared footage of the violence committed against the person on the plane.

Over het #lintjesdebat. Ik ben helemaal niet voor die koninklijke onderscheidingen. Nog beter, ik ben tegen de #monarchie! Dus wat mij betreft krijgt niemand een lintje. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Niks vervelend over al die vrijwilligers, maar beter om waarderingen niet via de koninklijke weg en via de Nederlandse staat te geven, maar op een andere manier. Welke dan wel? Wees creatief!

Ik ben ooit een keer bij een lintjesuitreiking geweest van een naast familielid. Wat een poppenkast was dat! 😵‍💫 Op een gegeven moment gingen mensen staand het volkslied zingen. Je ziet het al aankomen, ik ben blijven zitten. Ik kwam daar voor dat naaste familielid, niet de Koning en de Nederlandse staat. Weg met de monarchie! Weg met de staat!

Jullie begrijpen natuurlijk wel dat ik nooit zo'n lintje in ontvangst zal nemen. Gelukkig kennen de mensen in mijn omgeving me goed genoeg om nooit zo'n poppenkast voor mij op te voeren. 😜

Wel hoop ik natuurlijk dat #Faber wordt weggestuurd en haar nazicarrière hiermee kaput is!

They think that they now tackled their made up refugee 'crisis' and that people who voted for the fascists (#AfD) are now coming back to the mainstream (liberal) parties. It was a great day in the No Border Camp. We had some interesting workshops, including a great one from @trans_rescue. Later in the afternoon we went to Kamp Zeist, a detention center for families (and also the nearby asylum seeker center).

Eduard is sinds 12 juli in hongerstaking om aandacht te vragen voor het inhumane asielbeleid waardoor asielgezinnen worden uitzet met kinderen die langer dan vijf jaar in Nederland wonen.

60 prisoners expecting deportation revolted and fought off the jailers, wounding 7. There have been no reports of casualties during the heat of the uprising under the resisters. 14 resisters were afterwards forced into isolation cells.'

Today [Yesterday] (Monday 27th of May) we held a spontaneous noise demo to show our solidarity and support for their courageous actions! We waved and shouted to each other "FREEDOM NOW!"
