My #linux journey started in May as CoPilot and other invasions of privacy started to be announced for Windows. I've spent all of that time (minus a day on #pop_os ) on #linuxmint and tonight I feel comfortable enough to try moving to another distro. #NobaraProject here I come!

Compartilho com vocês um breve relato sobre como foi minha experiência usando o Nobara Linux por alguns dias como meu sistema principal.
Foi minha primeira oportunidade de usar Wayland e GNOME 46 com o driver proprietário da Nvidia sem nenhum problema. Porém, muitas outras coisas acabaram surpreeendendo.

Eu testei o projeto Nobara no meu PC de trabalho por alguns dias e foi uma experiência cheia de altos e baixos. Sem dúvida é uma distro com potencial e alguns recursos interessantes.

I have my new #FrameworkLaptop put together and installed #NobaraLinux #NobaraProject on it! Community forum says #FedoraLinux is best for this machine and so far the battery life has been pretty good!

CW: Qtile - Gaming
Amazing how using Qtile I'm getting more FPS overall compared to Gnome. It might not be a lot but definitely noticeable. The thing is, I'm having to put some games into window mode because fullscreen doesn't allow me to switch to other groups, for some reason. Anyways, I might figure that out another day.
I'm finding the concept of groups very interesting as well, and it hasn't been hard to understand how it works; also config file on python its just awesome.
I'm sure with a couple of weeks of practice I will be more productive on it than on Gnome. Amazing.

Guess I'll finally check out #Nobara Linux after my #Arch setup seems to be falling apart (random errors about dynamic libraries not loading). Very curious about its out of the box experience on #Nvidia. #NobaraProject

@notsle I am assuming you're using #Ubuntu due to your hashtags. I'd recommend trying out the #NobaraProject, it's a #Fedora based distro maintained by #gloriouseggrole. It has a ton of kernel patches for gaming related stuff.
I've done most of his changes to my #Gentoo system.

Ok so just an introduction to myself; I'm a #python #webdeveloper and I do that for a living. I'm also interested in #harrypotter stuff, in #videogames and at the moment I'm taking #singing lessons, since I play a bit of other instruments I wanted to start singing as well, I've never done it before.
I normally use #macos for work since I have a company laptop, but I also #playonlinux with #NobaraProject and I find it really awesome; I think this is the future of gaming.
