Hey there all, time for another post of #noahtips. I personally do not have a #uterus nor was I #afab so hopefully you will pardon my offering tips or advice to people who do have a uterus.
There is an ovulation tracking app called "Ovia" that recently updated their terms and mandates you provide the state you live in, in order to continue to use the app. The claim from them is this is because the US states have differing privacy laws.
However, the parent company of the app is LabCorp. LabCorp in turn runs a #PAC that donates a larger percentage of its available funds to #Republicans than it does to #Democrats, which held true in this past election where they donated more to #Trump than they did to #Harris (supporting documentation here: https://www.opensecrets.org/political-action-committees-pacs/laboratory-corp-of-america/C00314997/candidate-recipients/2024).
So my tip today would be for you to dig into that a bit if you plan to continue using that app. Though I will also say that if I had a uterus and was using a tracking app that had donated to Republican interests at all, I would be deleting it and requesting a purge of my data well before January 20th 2025.

I do not see any posts under the hashtag #noahtips so Iβm going to start using this for some posts and maybe itβll be helpful for someone.
Anyway hereβs my first post using that hashtag. When driving, if you end up with a flat tire but you feel unsafe stopping where you are, you can continue to drive on that flat for some distance until you reach safely. Note though that this will damage both the tire and the wheel itself and it is unsafe for high speeds (weβre going to put that at 30 mph/48kph). The longer you drive the more extensive the damage will be to the wheel itself and the tire, but this is a small price to pay for your safety. Please also note that your car will be less maneuverable so if you have to do this, drive carefully.
