When those who could pay higher FOI request fees - what we'd usually receive are not transparent files. It would take months to receive boxes of censored information. They're usually full of redactions/censored black boxes. Essentially, the government is charging more money for FOI requests but providing far less data/transparency than prior to Horgan hijacking freedom of information act. The undemocratic move was to hide BC NDP corruption from public eyes.
