@PoliceStateUK I don't recall there being any time limit to the commitment when I signed up to #No2ID last time round this Labour police state loop.

Phil Booth has done a video explaining the Digital ID consultation and how the scheme relates to Gov.uk One Login. Well worth a watch and sharing with friends and family https://youtu.be/mC16RbBzd2Y?si=pCn6E2-m33z-US4E #DigtialID #privacy #no2id

Apparently there's a zoom call every week about the subject.
I will try and join the next one - the details for this one were sent to me at short notice!Interestingly one of the organisers said that the AI system that "#Palantir Foundry" that the NHS will be using is based on Apache Spark (https://spark.apache.org/), so in theory non Palantir-based systems could be "plugged in" and used instead in future.
They also mentioned that the NHS does develop their own programs, so it is entirely possible to swap Palantir for other home-grown systems.
An example given was #OpenSAFELY, which was used for Covid-19 research (https://www.england.nhs.uk/2023/11/nhs-expands-use-of-secure-covid-19-research-platform-to-help-find-new-treatments-for-major-killer-conditions/)It was an interesting meeting, but sadly an hour was not enough to discuss everything that people wanted.
One of the people present are also part of the #No2ID group, and some of the concerns overlap in both groups.

I beg you, blow #Palantir sky high somehow. Our idiot #government is in bed with them and wants to deploy digital #ID ... not to benefit the majority, and definitely not in our name.

@RussCheshire @futurebird Yes I know.
Last time around lots of people signed up to #No2ID. I don't remember there being a time limit to that commitment, so as far as I know I'm still bound by it.

"There are basic vulnerabilities in the system. It would not take any creative thinking for a state actor or organised crime to target the vulnerabilities in #DigitalID."

"The Lib Dem peer said he had been told by an official that #OneLogin would not pass the required security tests until March 2026. The whistleblower also highlighted an incident from March this year, when a so-called "red team" tasked with simulating a real life cyber attack was reportedly able to gain privileged access to One Login systems."
