Spoiler-free 10-second movie review: "The Thursday Murder Club" (2025)
It's very good, and has an incredible cast. Legitimately ticks the drama, comedy, mystery, and thriller boxes. It suffers a bit from its Hollywood influence (it's a British-US co-production) because Hollywood *has* to dumb everything down, so it's not quite "excellent", but still enjoyable.
Recommended.

Just had an amazing experience watching a show for the first time that's been off the air for a while & there was a really awesome thing that happened & I got to be shocked & delighted because, for once, no one had already spoiled it for me.
I hate when those moments get denied.

A British dark comedy that has the flavour of "Coen Brothers meet Tarantino and run over Guy Ritchie in a Land Rover". Great cast. It plays with a lot of tropes and cliches and different genres. I found it hilarious.

Fantastic; drama, comedy, thriller, but mostly because it feels *real*. I will remember this film decades after I've forgotten the last Disney or Marvel POS I saw. The cast are all excellent, but Rainn Wilson gives the performance of his life.

Takes a different tone than the horror original, and pretty much nails it. Decent story, good characters, fun action. Someone behind it cared enough to get the tech stuff correct and bury geek references throughout.
Thoroughly enjoyable popcorn movie.

10-second spoiler-free movie review: "One Battle After Another" (2025)
Story is interesting and well-told, cast is great, action is competent, black-comedy elements are solid.
But boy-oh-boy does Paul Thomas Anderson need someone to tell him "No." from time to time. This weighs in near 3 hours, and it could easily have been trimmed to 2 hours without leaving out anything critical to story or character development.

Vill inte veta något om det som händer i filmen, men är nyfiken på om det finns en logisk förklaring till att Kalifornien och Texas tillsammans slåss mot presidentens trupper. Entertaining implementation of a well-used premise that manages to find some new twists. Fantastic cast, good storytelling, very enjoyable. Pushes the message slightly too hard rather than allowing the audience to figure it out, but nowhere near as bad as, say, post-1990 James Cameron beating the audience over the head with a bat.
See it.

Just watched the last episode of Stranger Things and, as predicted by my son, I did like the landing.
I could nitpick and complain about plot holes and some strange shots but their choice for the credits' song was too damn perfect.

Rusell T. Davies doesn't dissapoint making obvious villains, hidding interesting races. An unneeded death and a plot taken from a mediocre bond film. 🤦🏽♂️
For me, a wasted opportunity even when it has a few great moments. Vfx on this two, top notch for a TV mini series.
