A massive sigh coming from her neighbor’s camp stopped Brunhilde. When she poked her head in, she found her lady friend staring at peanuts scattered on the ground.
“Did you spill them, ma’am?” she asked.
“No, they’re for the #crows. It’s kind of like #chum. #Corvids flock to it. They’re my chums.” The woman laughed weakly at her joke.
“I haven’t seen any crows.”
“No, they’re afraid of that darn owl.”
“Be afraid. Be very afraid,” Forrest announced from a nearby tree. “Pick up all those peanuts, or I’ll turn you into chum, chum.” Forrest hooted insanely at the joke.
