This is only the 2nd Giants game this season that I have been actually able to watch this season because I refuse to pay for NBC Bay Area Sports.

So, I've mainly been following the team by reading the box scores but the result tonight was largely the same as it has been in the past.

The main reason they lost this game is because of the 3 runs given up by the bullpen in the top of the 9th to give the #Rockies the lead 4-2.

I heard K&K say at the end that this was the 12x this season that the bullpen has blown a lead resulting in a loss.

If that's so, the Giants' record now would be at 51-43 instead of 39-55 and they'd be in 2nd instead of 4th place (albeit still 10 games behind LA) in the #NLWest.

There is still a problem with a lack of hitting in key situations -- at least 3 that I could mention -- but none of those missed ops would have mattered if the bullpen could have just gotten 3 outs w/o giving up a run in the top of the 9th.

Oh well . . . 🤷‍♂️

Giants win 2-3 in the bottom of the 9th with a walk off "inside the park HR" by Ramos assisted by 2 throwing errors by the #Rangers on an infield dribbler thrown away by the pitcher & another throw away when Ramos headed to 3rd.

Crazy little league type play to end the game!!! 👋👋👋

The Giants took the series 2-1 & who remain in 1st place in 5he #NLWest with a record of 19-10, 1.5 games up on the #Padres at 17-11 who alost to #TampaBay & 1/2 game up on the #Dodgers who beat the #Pirates today.

Go Giants!!! 🎉🎉🎉

@Lino_JR 11 #NLWest titles in 12 years. I’d call that an embarrassment of riches. Meanwhile my #mariners once again sputter to the end of the season, just not quite good enough. Enjoy the playoffs.
