  1. Since I'm combing through the *entire* portrait collection of the #NLW on #Wikimedia, allow me to share an example of someone who's already got an entry in the #Bywgraffiadur (even though after some 50+ years it could do with an update): biography.wales/article/s-ROBE

This is John Roberts, on his mother's side a direct descendant of the famous Abram Wood and his family who were the first #Romani to be predominantly present in Wales. Roberts mastered the triple harp, preserved Welsh #FolkMusic and in time achieved the acolade of 'Telynor Cymru' (Harpist of Wales).

  2. It's National Library Week--a great time to thank library workers with budget increases, respect for our labor and expertise, elaborate vegan sandwiches, dairy pastries, and not messing with our book collections that help people holding marginalized identities feel like the library reflects their experiences back to them. #NLW

  3. Looking forward to this @Nye_Davies

40+ years ago spent days in the newspaper library in Colindale reading them for my Master’s. In early days as AM re-read many at #NLW after suggesting a book of #Bevan articles and speeches to a publisher, which they liked, then other projects took over.
